Rooms, real-stream points, effects, layouts, desktop

Viewers now join a room with their exact Whatnot / Twitch / Kick / YouTube username, approved by the host (or automatically) — no typed names. Points come from the stream itself: the new Chrome listener on the host's live page reports who is chatting, joining and buying. Libraries start from a built-in list (30 songs Free, 100 Crowd, swap freely); Crowd and up open the bridge to all of YouTube Music; an auto-play switch plays requests in order or holds each one for approval. Confetti now falls the whole screen and every effect is editable (colors, count, duration, size); fireworks, snow, balloons, sparkles, hearts, lasers, emoji rain, images and sounds on Crowd and up. A bigger CrowdRig badge on the overlay shows the join code; Setup has layout presets, per-card positions and sizes and a live preview. A built-in banned-words filter covers messages, requests and usernames. And CrowdRig Desktop for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Open beta: Jukebox, Polls and Triggers

app.crowdrig.com is live. Name a rig, paste one browser source into OBS, share the crowd page. Song requests from a library or open links with approval, timed polls with live bars on the overlay, and crowd-fired effects with cooldowns. Free while we build.

Desktop bridge

Optional. Links to your rig with a 6-digit code and plays requests through YouTube Music Desktop or Spotify at the end of your current song, then restores your own queue. No config file, no passwords.

Vertical overlay, chat commands, top crowd, plans

The overlay now has a 1080×1920 mode for Whatnot, TikTok LIVE and Shorts, with cards stacked in the upper third and sized for phones. Twitch chat commands (read-only — CrowdRig never posts in chat; replies show on the overlay), a top-crowd board layer, an emoji-rain effect, an overlay look editor, CSV log export, webhooks, and the plan tiers with usage meters in the console. Everything stays unlocked during the beta.

Points, accounts, shoutouts

A points economy on every rig: watching, chatting, voting and showing up earn points automatically; requests, effects and the new shoutouts spend them, with automatic refunds. Sign in by email to keep every rig in one account.

Boosts, a sturdier economy

Hosts can run a 2–5× points boost for 5 minutes to 4 hours — it shows on the overlay and the crowd page. A "stream day" for check-ins is now 20 hours, so evening streams that cross midnight count once; the console tells the overlay and the desktop bridge apart; requests and shoutouts nobody got to in a day are declined and refunded on their own; !top in chat shows the leaderboard.

Alerts · YouTube chat

Follows, subs and raids as clean, on-brand toasts, and chat commands for YouTube. Order depends on what beta hosts ask for most.
