Link this app to your rig
CrowdRig Desktop opens your console in its own window, adds the overlay to OBS with one click and can play requests through YouTube Music on this PC. It needs one link to your rig:
- Click Get a code.
- In your browser, open app.crowdrig.com/console → Setup → CrowdRig Desktop, type the code, click Link.
- This window switches to your console by itself.
Linking gives this app a console link for the rig. Nothing else is stored — no password, no email.
Music bridge
Play requests through YouTube Music Desktop on this PC instead of the overlay's YouTube player. A request never interrupts: it plays when the current song ends (or when you skip), and the songs you had lined up come back afterwards. Needs YouTube Music Desktop with Settings → Integrations → Companion server switched on. Spotify: use the bare bridge for now.
Status
offFirst start: YouTube Music Desktop shows a permission prompt — click Allow. Crowd plan and up.
OBS
Adds the CrowdRig overlay to a scene as a browser source, sized for your canvas. Needs OBS 28+ with Tools → WebSocket Server Settings → Enable.
Creates (or updates) a browser source named CrowdRig with your overlay URL, sized to the canvas, audio routed through OBS. Positions, sizes and colors are set in Console → Setup.
Twitch chat
Read-only. Viewers type !request, !vote 2, !confetti in your Twitch chat; replies show on your overlay. Once a minute the app also tells your rig who chatted (usernames and counts only) so chatting on the stream earns points. No bot account — CrowdRig never posts. Crowd plan and up. (For Whatnot, the Chrome extension does this.)
Settings
This app
Unlinking forgets the console link on this PC. Your rig, members and points are untouched.
Start with Windows
Windows only: puts a shortcut in your Startup folder so the app (and the music bridge, if it was running) comes up with your PC.
macOS: System Settings → General → Login Items → add CrowdRig. Linux: add it to your desktop's startup applications.
